Images Health and Fitness Club
Established in March 1999, Images Health and Fitness Club offers a friendly, relaxed, non-intimidating atmosphere in which to attain your fitness goals. You'll find the gym off Commercial Road and down Parr Street, not too far from Parkstone railway station. The gym itself consists of cardiovascular equipment (treadmills, bikes, rowers, trainers), plate loaded machines and a free weight section with smith machine, olympic bench and dumbells ranging from 0.5kg to 35kg enabling everybody to use free weights to tone and build muscle. Classes held in the studio range from kickboxercise to yoga, circuits to legs, bums and tums, and again are suitable for all abilities and levels of fitness.
Morgans in the City
Located on Gibbon Lane a stones throw from the University and the City Centre this site offers a range of convenient and very affordable health, fitness and beauty services for people living and working in the City. Morgan's in the City is a bright and fresh state of the art gym with a welcoming open plan layout. Their state of the art Precor Cardiovascular equipment comprises: Crosstrainers, EFX Machines, Treadmills, Seated Bikes and Upright Bikes. They also have a wide range of Precor Fixed resistance machines and free weights, including a Smiths machine, Cable Pulley and various benches.
Changes Health and Fitness
Situated in the heart of Cramlington in Northumberland, Changes Fitness is now under new ownership and is better than ever. Boasting the best resistance machines in the area, staff on hand at all times and clean working equipment that you don't have to queue for! The largest area of the club is located on the first floor and can be accessed by the separate entrance for men or for the ladies via the changing rooms. This area is truly impressive and is a surprise to everyone when they first lay eyes on it. It has twenty two pieces of resistance kit which include the very impressive sports art machines which are ergonomically designed to work the muscles in the best way possible and include cable cross overs, smith machine, shoulder press, chest press etc. There are also four plate loaded resistance machines, a squat rack which can accommodate a free bench and Olympic bar exercises, and a very impressive free weights area that have dumbbells that range from 2 - 65kg to allow continued progression. Also located in the gym are eighteen cardio machines including the ever popular concept rowers, treadmills, bikes, steppers and cross trainers. There is also a ladies only fitness suite. This area has been designed to ensure a relaxed atmosphere to allow women of any fitness level to exercise and achieve their goals. Because ladies of various shapes and sizes are trying to achieve similar targets they provide encouragement and support.
Heart and Soul Fitness
Situated in the heart of West London and with a team of highly trained staff from front of house to personal trainers, the team here are on hand to help and advise you on health and fitness goals. The gym is 2,222 sq ft spread over three floors and equipped with the latest equipment, including cardiovascular machines such as life fitness treadmills, concept 2 rowers, upright bike, schinn bikes. There is a floor dedicated to weights in the form of a loaded leg press, cable cross-over machine, bench press, lat pull down machine, a range of dumbbells and kettle bells, medicine balls, squat racks and Olympic bars. They also have a functional training room, one of the biggest and best in West London. This room houses the custom made Olympic lifting platform and battling/climbing ropes along with gymnastic rings and various sizes of box jumps, chin up bars, TRX equipment, more kettle bells, power bags, sand bags and Bulgarian bags, a 50kg boxing bag and much more. They also have showers, lockers and changing facilities along with private off-road parking for both members and payasUgym Users.
Viking Fitness
Viking Fitness is Oldham's newest premier gym, just a short drive from Oldham town centre and close to Junction 22 of the M60 motorway. Here you will find brand new ground floor facilities comprising of approx 6000 square feet of fully carpeted men's and ladies training areas. The main gym is stocked with a mix of brand new stack machinery, loose rubber weights and dumb bells, which is aimed at general keep fit enthusiasts through to Bodybuilders and Powerlifters. In addition to this there is a comfortable separate mixed Cardio vascular room with treadmills, rowing machines, cross trainers, steppers and bikes. Punch bags are situated down one side of this area. An upstairs mezzanine floor has also been built to create a small ladies only gym with various -resistance- machinery. A separate -Classes- room with a specialised rubber floor is used for all types of Ladies, Men's and mixed classes from Aerobics, Boot Camp, Circuits, MMA training and a whole host of others that are constantly being introduced and developed. Both members and payasUgym Users are encouraged to use this room whilst classes are not in progress. 2 sets of Kettle-bells, bag gloves, skipping ropes and body armour have recently been purchased to add to the accessories used in this room. Reception is small but well stocked with cold drinks, protein shakes, belts and other items of clothing at better than reasonable prices. A comfortable seated area is situated at the side of reception. Both sets of tastefully designed changing rooms are fully tiled, with soft lighting, toilet and shower facilities, benches and hooks to hang clothing. Energie Fitness Club Rotherham, close to the Parkgate Shopping Park on the outskirts of town, has so much to offer. As soon as you walk through the doors at Rotherham you will automatically feel the energetic charisma and warm welcoming from all our staff! Listed below are just a few of its attractions... All Cardio equipment here comes fitted with state-of-the-art 'Cardio Theatres'. These are wireless boxes that have pre-set radio and TV channels built in, simply plug in your own earphones and take your pick. There are 7 TV's within the gym broadcasting a variety of channels, which are all situated within viewing distance of the Cardio equipment and even some of the weights equipment. Should you feel that there is nothing that you are interested in watching while training, the friendly fitness staff will be happy to change them to something more suitable. The Free Weights Area is situated in an area just off the main gym. If you are a recreational weight-lifter or an experienced body-builder you will find they have everything to suit. Dumbbells are safely stored to one side of the Free Weights Room, this not only makes them easy to find but also creates extra floor space for the more extravagant weight techniques. The Free Weights Area also comes equipped with an Olympic Bar Flat Bench Press, a fixed Smith machine Press, a full size Squat Rack (with Olympic bar) and two Cable Crossover Machines which is suitable for people of all shapes and sizes, these are suitable for the more functional, core based trainers, but can also be used to create a bit of an extra 'pump' with some isolation exercises. Adding to the above, you will find the balcony area on the 1st floor containing another Cable Crossover Machine and space for core specific training, as well as a dedicated stretching and core training area with supporting mats on the ground floor. They have an Aerobics Studio and Spinning Studio (Fully Air Conditioned, and should the weather require it, Heating too) which hosts 40 classes a week and is capable of holding over 40 people for any given class, the Spin Studio also enables 19 people to participate per class. The main studio is available for use during times there are no classes running and contains 2 free standing technique bags, a hanging heavy duty punch bag and a variety of other versatile training equipment. One of the highlights of this club is the spacious Steam Room, Sauna and Aromatherapy room with separate gender shower and changing facilities.

These are suitable for the more functional, core based trainers, but can also be used to create a bit of an extra 'pump' with some isolation exercises. Aerobics and Spinning Studio (Fully Air Conditioned, and should the weather require it, Heating too) which hosts 50 classes a week and is capable of holding over 40 people for any given class. This studio doubles as a Spin Studio. The Spin Classes we hold here have a maximum of 22 per class. They also have 2 free standing punch bags situated in the studio, these are available, as well as the whole studio, for any member to use at any time there are no classes running. One of the highlights of this club is the spacious Steam Room and Sauna Area. This new section includes all the latest in Aromatherapy and Relaxology Facilities, with fully integrated showering and changing facilities. Lifeline Fitness
Situated in The Belfry Centre at the heart of Redhill, Lifeline Fitness is a modern, light and airy gym designed to make your gym experience a pleasant one. State of the art -Technogym- gym equipment and a Studio for a huge range of Fun Fitness Classes make this site a must for anyone looking for a fun gym experience in Redhill. Physique Warehouse
Situated just 5 minutes from Hampton Court station (National Rail) Physique Warehouse is a serious strength and fitness training gym spread over 9,000 square feet. The site has it's own parking bays and there is also parking available on the surrounding streets. The ground floor houses a range of hammer strength Isolever stations, suited to training specific muscle groups - including the chest, back, shoulders, and arms. There are also Olympic flat, incline and decline sets, a Deadlift and Squat rack. A separate leg-training area, includes leg press, hack squat, leg extensions, leg curl and calf raise machines. Also on offer is a wide range dumb-bells and fixed bar-bells up to 60kg. The first floor houses a Cardio Suite populated with Life Fitness treadmills and Cross-trainers, Cybex bikes, Steppers and Concept rowers. A separate area is set aside for toning and shaping, using light weights and a multi-station. Stretch mats, abdominal benches and medicine balls are all available. Two separate rooms upstairs provide both a therapy space, with electric couch and sink and a high powered sun bed. Men's toilets, changing rooms and showers, as well as a disabled toilet are to be found downstairs with women's equivalent facilities upstairs. Secure lockers for valuables are to be found in our reception area and storage for personal belongings is available in each changing room. The reception area provides a refreshment and relaxation area. A comprehensive range of food supplements, healthy snacks, clothing, boots and kit is also available.
Y Club
Centrally situated in Castlefield, Manchester's Y Club is the largest and friendliest health club within the city centre. Just a short walk from Deansgate station and with it's own great value car park (70p for up to 4 hours) on site this gym is easily accessible to everyone. Here you will find a relaxed, non-intimidating environment, where you will fit in whether you're a rookie, a serious fitness enthusiast - or anything in between. The Y club offers a fully equipped gym featuring Life Fitness and Matrix cardiovascular equipment along with a wide range of resistance and free weights. The gym also features a vibro plate. Energie Fitness Fulham is a great gym in Parsons Green just a few minutes walk from the north end of Wandsworth Bridge. For arrival by train, Wandsworth Town Station (National Rail) is 5 minutes walk away. If you choose to arrive by car there are metered parking spaces along Carnworth Road (from 9am-5pm) which become free outside of these times. Secure bike parking is also available right outside of the door. The club prides itself on it's warm and welcoming environment. The highly skilled and qualified team are there to assist you, whether it is weight loss, toning, improving strength, stamina, flexibility, body building, strongman training or sport specific performance you require, they will put you at ease from the beginning and help you achieve your goals in a relaxed environment. Sandown Sports Club
This gym is located within the grounds of Sandown Race Course in Esher. The Sandown Sports Club is 15 minutes walk from Esher station (National Rail) however arrival by road is recommended as they also boast a car park which is free to payasUgym Users. Please note access is not from the main racecourse entrance. The fitness suite offers comprehensive free weight, resistance machine, and cardiovascular areas. The cardiovascular area includes Bikes (normal and recumbent), Concept II Rowing machines, Stairmasters, Versaclimbers, Treadmills, full and lower body Cross Trainers, full body arc trainers and Arm Ergometers some with their own cardio theatre. The free weights section hosts dumbells up to 50kg and a range of Olympic weights, bars and benches. If you are looking for one to one training they also have personal trainers that may be able to help you. Each is fully qualified and very experienced in the industry. Details can be found at reception for the trainers that they recommend. Pre booking would be essential.
